Conveyor Component Distribution

We have key relationships with many conveyor manufacturers. They manufacture chain, track, power trolleys, attachments, pusher dogs, free line trolleys, drives, take-ups, horizontal and vertical curves. The conveyor types include Overhead I Beam, all forms of Inverted, and all forms of Enclosed Track. For the cost-conscious, these items are available rebuilt or imported. Media Blasting
 

Different abrasive blasting media is required for different applications. It runs from plastic beads and walnut shell for paint removal on delicate substrates to aluminum oxide and steel shot for heavy metal applications that require a peened smooth finish.
 

Iron Phosphate Conversion Coating
 

This is a spray process that cleans the part and lays down a layer of insoluble crystalline phosphates. This layer creates a surface that paint will adhere to easily and adds corrosion resistance.
 

Powder Coating
 

Powder coating can be applied to any electrically conducive part that can withstand 400o F. The process starts with a properly cleaned substrate. Then a thermosetting powder resin is applied by passing it through a spray gun that imparts a low voltage electrical charge. This positively charged powder will attract to the negatively grounded part. The part is then heated in an oven. The powder will chemically react, melt and flow, creating a cross-linked, smooth, even finish. The completed process forms a tough, impact and scratch-resistant finish without sags or runs.
 

Metallic Ceramic Coating
 

This is used in high temperature applications such as exhaust headers in automobiles. It is a process where aluminum vapors diffuse into the base metal. It can withstand base metal temperatures up to 900^o F, and up to 1200^o F exhaust gas temperatures. It polishes to a chrome-like finish and provides superior protection against corrosion. Tests have shown that under-hood temperatures can be reduced 30^o F, and horsepower gains of up to 3% can be achieved using ceramic coated headers.
